I am using Lobel financial now and have had no issues thus far. The only thing is there is no local office near me so I'm charged 8 dollars extra each payment I make over the phone.

Rude, Crooks

I am almost through paying for my car, my balance is $2921.24 and they are not willing to work with me. I have a BMW and when I first got the car I had over $1k in mechanical repairs. they told me since I didnt' have the car over a year yet they could not help me with payment plan they still expected to get paid. the very next month I had repairs again over $600 and the same thing. The next month I needed brakes and that was $300 this car has been nothing but one expense after another and they call you harassing you when you're 30 days late.

Lobel Finance are not any good at all. Their interests rates are too high.

And it's like buying the car brand new. With what they charge. And they harassed people constantly. And I have had alot of repairs done on my car.

And haven't even had the car long. And they are worried about their payments. That's all that matters to them.

I wouldn't want them to finance for me ever again. They are crooked.

My 2004 Cadillac DTS was stolen. When crooks were caught with car and sent to jail. Car impounded by a Tow yard. Lobel sneaks in quickly and grabs the vehicle, calling it a "Reposession".

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My car was Stolen the beginning of Oct. 2014. After almost completing the claims process with my Ins. Co., the car is Recovered by police and Car thieves are sent to local jail. Car is impounded to a Tow yard in South Sacramento. I had full coverage on said vehicle and expected to be treated as such. Well by my Ins. Co. and Lobel in Los Angeles working together but claiming that they both were not communicating at all, Lobel managed to come all the way up to Northern Cali to "Repo" my vehicle. I had made 1 car payment since car was first stolen. Then in November, all the sudden Lobel doesnt wanna accept my Nov. car payment, stating that there was no reason for me to make payments on a stolen car. But after removing vehicle from Tow yard, Lobel sends me a letter stating I had 10 days to pay car off "in Full" (claiming I still owe over $9000.) I only borrowed $8000. in the first place, and have paid over $4000. on it so far. Let alone that Allied Insurance should be paying them off for car, not me. Lobel said they were to be auctioning said vehicle off soon and then I would be responsible for whatever amount was left unpaid. Then Allied Insurance sends me a $700. for damages they claim they repaired on this vehicle, (somehow while it was in transit I guess?) And now I have filed with the CA Attorney Generals Oversight Department, besides BBB, and now YOUR site. So we will see where this goes... This company should have their License REVOKED after all the complaints I have seen, all mostly for the same rip-off business practices, over and over again!! AND I see that The BBB gives them an "A" when u look up Lobel Finance, Even though they ARE NOT Even accredited by BBB. Let alone all the complaints against them that half are still NOT resolved! I would like to know HOW BBB could possibly even consider giving an "A" rating for these Thieves! Somebody must know the right people or something. Or the integrity of our BBB is gonna end up as bad as the rest of CA's Corrupt Government practices. PEOPLE BEWARE!! DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS with this COMPANY, they are as shady as it gets, and they Lie thru their teeth. REMEMBER its LOBEL FINANCING in Southern CA.

Harrassement

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
They have continually tried to add insurance to my vehicle although they have been provided proof the my vehicle is insured. They call and hang up daily. When I call back they are very rude and keep asking what is the location of my vehicle. I have never been late with a payment. And my insurance is paid yearly. When asked for the owners information they refuse to give the name of the owner or another person who can stop this harrassment. I have advised them to stop calling me every day and sometimes they call twice daily. Harrassment forsure.

I bought a car from Buy Right Auto in Corpus Christi, Texas who said I was financed through these bozos. It comes time to make my first payment and I find I cant make it locally via car lot but have to make it with Lowball Financial. I call them to get their address and they refused to give it to me. I cant make a payment over the phone, I cant make a payment online, and I cant make a payment locally. I have to mail in a payment to Anaheim, CA and they don't give confirmations of payments.

Insurance scam....

I too was a victim of Lobel and their unethical tactics. Bought a car and had payments that lasted two years. I made every single payment on time and had full coverage insurance on it the ENTIRE TIME. Every three months I would receive a letter saying that my insurance company informed them that I had dropped my coverage and they were charging me for insurance. Long story short, I paid the car off in May of 2014. Three months later, I received a letter from Lobel saying that my insurance company informed them that I had cancelled my insurance. This came three months AFTER I received the letter and my title saying that my car had been paid off. I sent back a nasty letter telling them that they were the worst company I had ever dealt with, and that they had better check their records because my car was paid off three months earlier. I hope I NEVER hear from them again.
